Little expedition to the center of time: Discovering the Dinosaur Cave

One late winter morning, two splitboarders, Casam and Mikele, set off on an adventure on the steep mountain slopes. The conditions were perfect: freshly fallen snow, an azure blue sky and mountains that seemed to stretch to infinity. After several hours of climbing, they reached the pass, with a virgin slope in front of them at the bottom of which shone a turquoise lake.

As they were walking along a fold in the mountain, a strange blue glow caught their attention. They stopped, intrigued. As they got closer, they discovered a hidden cave. The daylight, filtering through cracks in the rock, created sparkling reflections on the walls of ice. It was a magnificent cave, but what was most striking was the strange atmosphere that reigned there.

Casam stepped forward cautiously, his snowboard clattering on the hard snow, while Mikele followed him, his warm breath mingling with the icy air inside. Suddenly, a thud echoed through the cave. They stood still, their eyes scanning the darkness.

Suddently, in a corner of the cave, they saw a gigantic silhouette moving slowly in the shadows. A massive creature, covered in scaly leather and powerful muscles, came into view.

It was a dinosaur. A real dinosaur, majestic and imposing, as if it had traveled through the ages to find itself there, in this icy cave. But what was even stranger was that it was wearing a bright yellow helmet on its head. Casam and Mikele froze, stunned. The animal turned towards them, its eyes sparkling with a curious gleam, then it bowed its head, as if to wink at them.

The dinosaur rose slowly, its gigantic feet treading the ice with strange agility. It approached them without any aggression, as if it simply wanted to get to know them. Mikele, at first nervous, advanced slowly and held out her hand, fascinated by the creature. But before she could touch its scaly skin, the dinosaur suddenly moved away and advanced towards another part of the cave, disappearing into the darkness.

The two splitboarders looked at each other, short of breath, stunned by what they had just experienced. The dinosaur was not only a creature from another time, but also seemed to be a character straight out of a strange dream. After a long moment of silence, Casam whispered, “It seems like he just showed us that there are still hidden wonders, far from everything we know.”

Mikele nodded, still in shock, and together they slowly emerged from the cave, their hearts still racing. They didn't know if what they had seen was real or simply a figment of their imagination, but one thing was certain: this adventure would remain etched in their memory forever, like a frozen mystery that they might one day have the courage to solve.

Yes, there are days when you set off on a hiking trip but end up coming back from a journey!

Long live the dinosaurs.
