What happens when you mix ski touring, teenagers, 7000 meters of uphill climbs, and some cheese and chocolate?

You get La Cordée – and we absolutely love it!

The idea?

Bring together young adventurers (14–17 years old), teach them the art of ski touring, living in a community, and crushing vertical meters one step (and one laugh) at a time.

Six days, more than 7000 meters of elevation gain... fueled by Haudères cheese, chocolate, and pure legs power. 💪🍫🧀

Serious alpinism: our girl Tamara Nef and her brother Laszlo were there this winter to support and coach at this amazing camp in the Val d’Hérens.

What is La Cordée?

La Cordée is a non-profit association from Geneva, founded back in 1952. They organize climbing and mountaineering camps for teenagers in the summer, a climbing/biking camp in October, and this legendary ski touring week every February.

Climbing, sharing, passing on knowledge and enjoying one week together. If that’s not the spirit of the mountains, what is?
