2025/2026 - San Martino di Castrozza, Italy
On the weekend of March 19th to 22nd, we brought together 30 mountain enthusiasts for the second edition of L’Amicale. This year it took place in San Martino di Castrozza, in the Trentino Dolomites.
An event open to all. Participants came from all over, with a wide range of experience, from experienced mountaineers to beginners in ski touring. For three days, they explored the breathtaking Dolomites, surrounded by iconic rock towers and unforgettable landscapes.
Beyond skiing and snowboarding, L’Amicale was a true opportunity to share a passion, meet new people, and grow the community we started building last year. The cozy living room of Hotel Regina provided the
perfect setting to relax, share stories from the day, and enjoy warm, convivial moments together.
Guided by four certified mountain guides, participants took part in hands-on workshops focused on safety in the mountains. The program included DVA search training, engaging discussions on best practices, and rope handling techniques for navigating steep couloirs, essential skills for accessing terrain like the Dolomites.
Thanks to incredible snow conditions, with 60 cm of fresh snow the weekend before, the experience was even more special. For some, it was their very first steps on skins; for others, their first rappel into a steep Dolomites couloir, a dream come true. Our goal was, and still is, to create an event that is accessible to all levels of skiing and snowboarding, human, and authentic. Combining joy, sharing, safety, and meaningful mountain experiences.
Bringing people into the mountains is always a bit of a gamble. When the sun is shining, everything feels easy, but when the weather turns, plans must adapt. Routes change, and flexibility becomes key. During the event, we witnessed real moments of mutual support and acceptance. Even when conditions forced us to adjust our plans, everyone
embraced the experience.
That’s the mountain: nature decides. And in the end, everyone left with
a smile.
